Life With 3 Kids....

I heard it all before I had our little girl, "Three kids is a nightmare" "You will never want to have another" "you thought two was tough? Three will have you crying." Well, we are 2 months into having three kids and both hubby and I have said that three isn't as bad as people made it out to be. Yes, my house looks like Katrina came through here, and maybe a tornado in the middle of the night. Sure, my hair is always in a pony tail and I have little to no makeup on and my kids are in comfy clothes (aka clean pj's) but I haven't pulled any hair out yet. I do have more gray but that's ok, that's what blonde highlights are for! Neacel and Brody adore their sister, and even when they are being rough with each other, they watch out for her. The only thing that has been tough has been all the crazy adjustments. A week after I had her, Neacel started soccer, a week after that, hubby started his internship, the following week Neacel started preschool and then each week it seems hubby gets more clients. Of course, its great but there is no consistency and that's what makes it tough in the beginning  I love my kids, I love their smiles and giggles but running here and there, and trying to manage a house is a lot. I just started with keeping my kids, alive, fed and happy. You can't ask for much more right? Now I'm adding the house, actually I'm procrastinating with all I need to do today. Perfect time to start blogging again huh? When my house is begging me to clean it.

A little about our newest addition. Macey Reese was born on August 8th at 1:38pm. She was 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. She has dark hair and her eyes are going to to blue. I can tell only because they are identical to big brother Neacel's eyes when he was a baby. Praying she gets his bright blue eyes. She is such a calm baby. So different from my boys. She always wears a headband, and yes at 5 days I painted her toenails hot pink and paint her toenails often. Don't judge! After 2 boys, I couldn't resist. She is sleeping around 5 hr chunks at night, which is the biggest blessing of them all. She loves the colors pink and purple, her favorite food is milk and she loves smiling and sleeping. What more could I ask for? I am so wrapped around her little finger, there is something special about the bond between a mom and her daughter. Even the boys are in love with her. Brody is always giving her kisses, and Neacel is always talking about how much he loves her and how adorable she is. They are amazing big brothers, and I pray that all 3 of them always have the love for each other that they have now.

These newborn pictures were taken when she was only a week old by a good friend. She also did the top picture of the kids all together. Amazing aren't they? Rachael Cook Photography does amazing work, so if you are in the Akron area or willing to travel then have her do some pictures for you. I couldn't be happier with all my pictures. Tough part is, I have no idea which ones to print and put up around the house.

Wacky Wedenesday

I love watching my boys spend time together. They are really growing up fast and I love that you can tell that they are becoming best friends. Although, they hit, throw things and scream at each other, there is something so sweet about the moments they spend together. Yesterday, Broden was laying on the floor being silly and Neacel ran over, laid next to him and started making silly faces. They both thought this was hilarious. Thank goodness for camera phones and being able to catch these little cute moments they have. I love my 2 boys more than anything. I'll be honest though, I hope this next one is a girl, I'm seriously outnumbered and I don't like it. Not to mention, this momma wants some pink around the house!!

Oh how I love and adore these boys, even though they do drive me nuts at times. It wouldn't be the same if they acted differently, their personalities are hilarious!

Katmarval Photography Review

Yup, these are my little dudes! The ones I spend my days with, the ones that are making me go gray before 30 and make me love life more then anything. These two dudes are one of the biggest blessings in my life. I can't live without them.

I love this picture of my little dudes, playing in the leaves, there is no pushing or shoving. No taking toys from each other, just true brotherly love that they apparently don't like for others to see. A friend of mine took our family pictures last weekend, and I have to brag, they are amazing! She did an amazing job of capturing our personalities even though the wind was trying to blow us over. If you are needing some new pictures I recommend contacting Katelynn(katmarvalphotography@gmail.com

You can see some of her work here, as you will see, she has a talent. Her photos aren't overworked like a lot are now a days. They are natural and so pretty. This girl can make muddy shoes look pretty, I swear! She is fun to work with the gets the edits to you quickly. We got our photos in less then a week, and I can order prints as I want them. She edits the best ones and then emails you a link to download the photos. You then save them to your computer and print as you please. She also downloads them to Shutterfly so you can order through them if you choose. Katelynn is in the Cleveland area and currently does photos for a price that can't be beat. Christmas is around the corner and I know everyone is scrambling to get their pictures done. Email her, and see if you can get a photo date with her.

I love the photos of my boys and can't wait to get them printed and on the walls. Broden with the stick in his mouth is priceless! Neacel's blue eyes are perfect, and the innocent smile, it could be a trick. I love photos, it's freezing time for that second, having a permant memory that can never be erased. I will always remember family picture day, picking outfits, the stress of making sure the kids stay clean, finding the place and still making sure that Neacel doesn't follow the geese into the pond, or take a dive into the river...family pictures are a blast to have, but the process is stressful at times.

My Sweet 1 Year Old

I wasn't going to put my kids on this blog but decided you should probably know that they are real. You hear about silly things they do, and will see pictures of them reviewing certain products, so I'm using today to introduce my youngest to you....

Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet Broden! He of course is our youngest and the past year has been such a joy to have this bundle of joy apart of our lives. Brody (as we call him) was 8lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. More hair then you can imagine! That explains the heartburn before I could get a positive test!!! He has rock star hair and lungs, I swear! Although I dream pink and want a little girl SOOOO bad, I love my little dudes. I love that the Lord has trusted me with 2 hyper, fun loving, sweet souls to raise. Broden just started really walking, and loves everything. Smiles at everyone and loves his big brother so much. This first year with him was tough at times, learning to be a mom of 2 was tough, then add that they are both boys....double trouble! I'm so proud of the toddler he is becoming. His personality just lights up a room. Mommy and Daddy love you Brody and are so proud of you!!!!

For his birthday we are taking him to dinner tonight (a tradition in my family) and then buying a little cake for him to smash into! I know my little chunk will eat the whole thing. Food is not an issue with him!!!
